From what I just read, they are lightweight and designed for short races, not daily walks. I was comparing them to the New Balsnce 990V6 that I was suggested to buy for daily walks. They are firm and very supportive.

Really designed for people with narrow, near perfect arch. Slightly flat footed and wide, couldn't shake the (with Vaporfly 3) feeling my mid-foot was falling over.

Adidas Adios 3/4, Evo SL much better for my flat and wide foot profile.

This is a race day shoe. Anything from 5k to marathons. Compared to the alphaflys, the vaporflys are more for power based runners which is why the shoe usually does better for shorter races. The alphaflys are for more stride based runners which is why you see it used more during marathons. The alphaflys will have more bounce and cushion compared to the vaporflys. The vaporflys are a bit more aggressive meaning you feel the ground more letting you get more power when you push off with each step.
