Paid like $30 for a 5 amp charger. Good find. Just make sure to match your battery to the charger. Wouldn't use this on anything less than a 50ah battery.

Edit: see it has adjustable output. So will work for even 10ah batteries. Nice. In for one.

Do you know if the actual charging voltage is adjustable or only the type of battery? If not, I need to see the charging profile for each setting. I am looking for a charger of a Tesla NMC battery but need to limit the max voltage to 24.5V.

Seriously doubt the voltage is adjustable at this price, likely only the current. Probably has a 12v lfp and 24v lfp bulk/absorb/float curve and that's it. And even more doubtful is that it supports NMC. Description says agm, gel, lead acid and lfp only.

no, i think too many amps and volts too possibly. maybe try this, i like the idea of it having low amps to prevent potential issues https://www.harborfreight.com/05-...59000.html maybe this one fancier, slightly higher amperage, ever so slightly lower reviews https://www.harborfreight.com/aut...62813.html

Good charger, when it works. I received a faulty unit and support sent out a replacement after a few emails and submitting sufficient evidence. Would definitely recommend.

*I also bought 2x 12.8V 150Ah from eco-worthy this summer.

I bought 2x 12.8V 150Ah from eco-worthy this summer as well. I have had a collection of eco-worthy batteries over the past five years, all have worked well for me. I do wish the earlier ones had Bluetooth capabilities, though.

This is cheaper than the 5A NoCo charger that I just got for $70; On the one hand, NoCo is trusted, but on the other hand, this will also fast-charge large batteries which I might get in the future.

Most of these home grade chargers are not capable of adjustable charge profiles.

If you want to charge a raw nmc battery, with no BMS, you should get a cc/cv adjustable power supply. Their readily available in a variety of wattages.

For a little more you get one purpose built with a screen.

If your using it as part of a build of some sort, the all in one units (mppsolar/growwatt/etc) have adjustable voltages, and they have a inverter out/ ac charging and other functions that can save you a lot of time and money.

It takes like 6-7 hours for one battery... I don't quite consider that a fast charge for a 150ah battery, let alone 2! Fast charge to me would be less than 3 hours...

Get a NOCO battery charger if you're maintaining a car battery. Lots of model/capacity choices. Bulletproof and smart. We own about five of them and have been using them for 10+ years.

With all the discounts, $41 looks like a solid deal. Those two 2-foot Anderson plug jumpers alone are probably $20+ of value, depending on whether you buy or fabricate them. Will save me some $ for a portable power station I'm fabricating.
