It comes with 3 carbon filters.

You can see the smoke from the flux rise up into it, saving your lungs from pine rosen heaven.

It's a heavy duty tool, the power cord is a half inch thick.

Are these any good? Do they work? Does it have a filter you'd need to change?

Anyone familiar with noise level from these? I'd love to get something quieter than the KOTTO unit I've been using.

How do you think this would work for cigar smoke?

Had this for a few years and am happy with it. I added some adhesive backed LED strips to the edge of mine and wired them up to turn on when I turn this on for some added visibility.

Could use this for a tiny kitchen that always sets off our smoke alarms thanks to a useless range fan

I doubt it would work. This fan only has a carbon filter, it doesn't remove the particles that are in smoke that your smoke alarm detect.
