Agreed. But most people would look at the supposed $50 price difference between the 9070 and 9070 XT and figure for less than 10% more they can have the faster card and undervolt to save energy today, and then OC down the road when they need more power at the cost of increased wattage.

One thing that's not discussed enough is that the 9070 is much more energy efficient than the 9070 XT. Almost all of the performance benefit of 9070 XT is explained by the fact it runs at 30 - 40% higher TDP. So if you're going to power limit it may as well get this one!

I have a Red Devil, not a Hellhound, but this card is crazy efficient. Never goes past 45c and pulls less than 200w even at 99% usage and the fans stay very quiet.

Wish it came in a 2-fan form factor, considering the TDP and chip class.

Wow, 45C?

I have the 9070 XT PowerColor Reaper which I power capped to 200 watts. It doesn't go above 65C and typically runs closer to 60C, in a small form factor build! Still, 45C is crazy low.

Tempting, very tempting, but I'll hold out to BF/CM.

This, or a 5060TI 16GB? Or, wait for the "Supers"? I have a GTX 1070 FE now...

Asrock has a 1 year warranty, while PowerColor has 2 year warranty. Take your pick.

I barely go over 55c with my 9070xt steel legend. Haven't touched its settings though and have been only playing Battlefield 6.

Bought this card at this price a week ago, absolutely love it. The aesthetic of the wolf on the backplate, whose eye illuminates, is not showcased well enough in pictures. Have it running in an H9 flow case and it's so quiet compared to the 3080 (Dell OEM) that was swapped out for it.
