Not a bad deal, especially if looking for a 2ah included, but i'm wondering if the "special buy" for (2) 6ah and (1) 4 ah for $160 is better...

I was able to find these at a somewhat local HD. At this price, two 4ah HP Batteries was a good deal. Add in the 2ah and it's a very good deal.

I prefer these for my applications over the 6ah packs due to the added weight and bulk. 4ah seems to be a good balance between capacity and weight.

I thought the 6ah were supposedly similar in size as the 4ah.

If you are click on "Check Nearby Stores" under where it says ship to store, you will see your local stores that have it on clearance.

North Richland (0540) has 3
Keller (6548) has 24
South Fort Worth (0529) has 1

For the HP packs, they are basically the same, but the extra capacity adds weight. For some applications, weight is a non-issue. But for hand tools, the extra weight adds up over time and thus I'd rather swap a battery instead of hurting my arm or back.

Unfortunately none near me. I had just gotten a couple of those tool-only stick vacs to use as future gifts too, but I figured it would be a pretty dick move to give someone a tool with no battery or one of my used batteries, so I've got to wait for some really good battery deals. Or I guess I can gift them to people who are already in the Ryobi system.

Might be a better buy for me, have no use for a 2ah and another charger.
