Think twice about buying silicone caulk if you're just trying to stock up because it's a good price. I learned the hard way: I once used a two-year-old tube on a project, and it never cured — even after three weeks. The result? A sticky mess and a frustrating cleanup just to redo the job with fresh caulk. Since then, I always inspect the date stamp before buying or using a tube. Research for yourself. If you're unsure whether a tube is compromised, before using it, try a test bead on a scrap of cardboard a day ahead of time to make sure it will cure properly. If it remains tacky or does not seem fully cured, don't even think about using it.

Everything is great about this caulk, except for its smell. It is very strong.. Althogh after curing it will be gone.

does it come already hard like the last one? VERY TIRED of crapa-zon deals. always out of date, food and stuff to send back.. NO ONE takes returns (drop-off) anymore. Kohls no, staples don't want to do it. pay return on your own dime.

I have 3 tubes of this stuff that are as hard as a rock. 2 years old maybe, I got clearance from Walmart back then.
