Had an AE1000, which uses a nearly identical core as this one, except the watch face is round. Bands broke after 3 yrs of daily wearing. OEM replacement costs over $10. Just FYI if deciding to have one to beat around.
I deff bought one. I have a silver metal casio (smaller than this) and I get compliments LOTS of the time when i'm wearing it. Now I'm excited to have this black one, and then hopefully I can find a good metal black band to replace the rubber with.

Hands down my favorite watch. I bought a brown leather strap that just look better over time, it looks really nice. Very handy when I am out of the country and can just look at what time is it at home. Got one for myself and my nephew (he loves it). Solid watch with a 10 year battery. This normally sits around $25, so not a bad deal. Definitely worth $20 bucks!
I have this watch as well. The band is not as good / robust, so I don't wear it as much. If anyone knows how I could get a G-Shock type band on this, please let me know!
EDIT: Actually, I just checked again and it seems any 18mm G-Shock band would work. Need to go try it out...

I am wearing a Casio watch now (and almost always). I've had expensive watches, solar chronographs, etc. This one cost about $40, and it is, without doubt, the most accurate watch I have ever owned. I set it about four months ago, and it's within 100mS of NTP. Yes, this is a statistical anomaly (a 6-sigma process control thing), I have another Casio that loses about a second per-month.
The only reason I wouldn't buy this one is that the time display takes up too little of the LCD for my taste.
I bought this watch about 2 years ago when it went on sale around Christmas time. The buttons are very soft that any accidental touch changes the time to a different time zone. I tried the watch for a good month before I returned it due to the sensitivity of the buttons.
