If you have dry scalp it could be psoriasis. You have to rotate shampoos but they are terribly inefficient way to treat this condition (as are lotions). Skyrizi injection by a dermatologist is the way to go. 99.9% reduction in scalp flakiness. I tried ALL the shampoos and most effective was Nizoral Anti Dandruff Shampoo.

Jeez man, you went straight to psoriasis. Maybe AIDS too?

99.9% people with dry scalp just have dry scalp. A long time ago I personally tried all the tea tree oil shampoos, all the no-chemical shampoos, every single miracle cure shampoo all those stupid blogs and hair "experts" advertise out there... Literally none worked, ever.

Then I bought some lowly H&S at my grocery store and my problem went away within a few washes.

This shampoo used to be just "dry scalp", but because it's America, they had to add some food ingredient (almond, no idea what TF it has to do with dry scalp) so all those obese people would be like "uhmm yummy shampoo, I'll put food oil into my hair". They have to put a picture of some food into everything otherwise it doesn't sell.

I expect the next step will be toothpastes with "Burger" or "Mayo" or "Greasy Donut" flavor.
