The pictures clearly indicate the unstretched cord minus the carabiner clips is supposed to be 24 inches. But they also indicate the carabiners themselves are 70mm in length (about 2.75 inches). If that's true those carabiners should be no more than one eight the length of the cord, which sure isn't what it looks like. Based on the pictures and the stated dimensions of the carabiners, I'd say those "24 inch" cords are a little over half their advertised length. Not saying a 14 inch bungee is useless, but if you're thinking about using these for something like lashing cargo to an average car roof rack, forget about it.

Third reviewer said he got a 26inch including measurement of the carabiner. The cord itself measured roughly 22inches. But yeah I don't know if these would do for a cargo roof. Latching these in the trunk maybe.
