Probably a dumb question but could I expect this to work acceptably with a Gamesir G8 Galileo? Perhaps they are shaped similarly enough?

I was thinking the same for carrying chargers etc. But this doesn't look like deep enough when open, and the middle hill takes up too much space making it unwieldy to put certain power banks. You might get better carrying bags in this price range from Temu/Ali exp. I am a bag junkie but now passing on this.

The G8 looks quite a bit bigger so I doubt it. 6.9 in vs 9 in length.

Custom cutout for the Backbone. I got it last time it was $5 and it is quite good for what it is. There really isn't extra room in there for much more than a charger or earbuds though
