Dunno why Homey Depot never has deal on the nailers.

FYI HD is shadow banning people for abusing the hack. My account and many has been banned, started a few weeks ago. Even Pro accounts had been banned by mistakes. So watch out.

Hey, my account was reinstated, I just tried logging in and it worked. My account wasn't working for maybe a month.

This right here.

I don't do the hacks. I really do feel it's a bit of soft-fraud....buying a combo deal for aggressive pricing, then returning the unpalatable bits for a refund. It's not great on an ethical level, and it's all about "be the change you want to see in the world" stuff. It's like buying a bulk pack, keeping only one of the pack, and getting a pro-rated return on the rest -- and claiming it's "LEGIT" only because they haven't cracked down on it.

Well folks, THEY'RE CRACKING DOWN!

And they ain't foolin' around either. No warnings, no nothing.

My brother, however, has no such ethical predilection. He bought a drill the other week, returned some M12 batteries, and got our ENTIRE ADDRESS banned.

Technically, our address got "flagged". We are NOT allowed to make online purchases anymore -- they must be done IN STORE. This applies to anything shipped to our address AND any payment method associated with this address.

Our credit cards registered to this address can't buy anything online -- shipped home, shipped elsewhere, or for in-store pickup. Nope.

Even worse: Dad tried to use his work credit card -- which is registered to the business -- but once had stuff shipped to our home address since the corporate office is in another state. That card, in an entirely different name and address -- can't be used for online orders anymore at HD because it's contaminated with our address. His employer is NOT happy at all. Home Depot is giving them the run around something fierce.

Did they just ban my brother for breaking their rules? Nope -- they banned everyone. I did nothing wrong, but I'm suffering with collateral damage.

Think of it like this. When a business is losing money they are not suppose to, they will do anything to make it not happening again. Business exists to make profit and pay their employees at the same time With so many businesses going under in this economy, Home Depot financial spreadsheet does not look so good. If there is no more Home Depot, where are you going to shop? Lowe's. Are you happy with just one name store dominating. Then we are getting into the game of for instance, one electric bill from one company, you will be shocked with the price then. Just for an example

Still lotsa options: I'll go to Lowes, ACE hardware, Menards, Wal Mart, ebay, Amazon, Ali Express, Mercari, Offer up, Shopify, Tik tok shop, Facebook market, Craiglist, etc.

I also had issues with logging in to my account for a while and it was recently fixed. I actually called HomeDepot.com customer service and they said that as long as it's a separate line item you are allowed to return it…..

Let say Menard is closed as well and other large stores. How are you going to get bulkier items like woods, plywood, metal raw materials. Large thingss that youcan only buy to fix your house. Itis going to be fun buying them at specialized store only certain people know about. And good luck with the price at specialized stores

Screw. I've never done anything unethical to Home Depot. However, I can't purchase anything online from them. I also can't purchase from other online retailers. The list is probably 10 stores that I know of. I have no idea why.

How did you find out you were banned?

I believe this, but how many times did your brother hack? I bet he did it a bunch of times.

About once or twice a year.
