The rtings review was for the 65" model, sometimes different size tvs have different panel types.

Displayspec shows the non-costco 85" from the QD7N series as a VA panel.

So I wouldn't go off of the rtings review unless there's confirmation that the 85QD75N uses an IPS panel unlike the 85QD7N from the same series.
