About this Movie:
  • Kern County Deputy Sheriff Joe Deke Deacon (Washington) is sent to Los Angeles for what should have been a quick evidence gathering assignment. Instead, he becomes embroiled in the search for a serial killer who is terrorizing the city. Leading the hunt, L.A. Sheriff Department Sergeant Jim Baxter (Malik), impressed with Deke's cop instincts, unofficially engages his help. But as they track the killer, Baxter is unaware that the investigation is dredging up echoes of Deke's past, uncovering disturbing secrets that could threaten more than his case.

kind of an odd comparison but this is only meh/all right, and highest 2 lowest seems to have universal acclaim..but isn't available on home media, sadly!

Did this not ever come with a digital release at all? I don't care if it's a catalog release, it's only a few years old and the 4k just came out a few months back. WB is so lame!

I watched this a few years ago, and forgot I watched it until I saw I had already rated it on IMDb. Wow.

In your defense, it was very forgettable.

Movie was a total snooze fest and boring as hell. I wouldn't take it for free.

Yeah that's what I meant, I can only remember 2 scenes. It's better this way, we don't have unlimited brain storage so subpar experiences should be forgotten lol.

I remember when HBO released a bunch of movies directly to streaming vice theaters due to Covid. This may have been one of the first that they did this and it was very exciting to watch first-run movies at home. Man, what a disappointment this movie was, and I was glad I didn't spend $$$ to see this in theaters.

Agreed! It didn't need the politically charged garboganda that EVERY horror movie this year crapped out.
