Community Reviews
EcoFlow's DELTA 3 Ultra looks like a strong value for a single 3,072Wh power station, especially for camper, vanlife, and home backup use. The 120V, 30A TT30 output, 10ms cutover, and hi and low voltage solar input make it appealing for larger loads and solar setups, and the price compares well with older Delta 2 purchases. The main limits are the 800W solar cap, 60V input ceiling, and the non Plus model's lack of expansion battery ports. EcoFlow's confusing product pages and talk of future feature paywalls add some caution, but it still stands out as a compact all in one option.
Common Questions (5)
The non-plus Ultra does not have extra battery ports and cannot add expansion batteries. The Ultra Plus is the version in this lineup that supports battery expansion.
The unit is limited to 11-60V, 18A, with 800W max solar input on a single MPPT. That makes it less suitable for higher-voltage residential panel setups, though it can still work well for smaller solar arrays or camper use.
It has a 120V output and a 120V/30A TT30 plug, which makes it a strong camper unit. It can also be used for house backup if your generator connection is 120V, but it will not match a 240V generator input.
The 3kWh capacity makes it a likely fit for the 30% tax credit threshold. That said, the comments only raise the question and do not confirm final eligibility, so it should be verified against the current tax-credit rules.
A 3072Wh battery can run an older fridge for about 29 hours at a 105W average draw, or a newer fridge for about 43 hours at a 71.5W average draw. Real-world runtime can be a bit shorter because of inverter and discharge losses.

wellbots same price but no tax for many states.
ecoflow really dropped the ball on the solar input with limiting all these to 60v max, so i will have to pass unless the prices comes down a couple hundred more. if it had a 90v or 95v solar input i would be interested.
delta pro 3 is much more useful with a 150v max pv input, and 20a max on the 60v input (better for wiring two panels in parallel). with my paricular panels, i could come close to maxing out the 2600W solar limit, using a combo of series and parallel.

Im thinking of waiting it out also. Could be a mistake but who knows. One vender already gave me a 5% coupon then 10 when I didnt buy and now 12%. They are making it hard to wait for BF!!!
Two delta pro 3's, or one delta pro 3 and extra battery? I am thinking about getting the SHP2, and possibly the dual fuel generator. But if I get two pros, the gen can only be hooked to one and auto start? What is the advantage of two units compared to one with extra battery? double the solar panels I'm guessing? Anything else?
