lol another lopsided build. Overpowered CPU for that GPU (no one needs an x3D for a x70 GPU) and then a relatively-low powered PSU guaranteeing you will need to replace it when you decide to buy a GPU that will actually take advantage of the CPU power.

So pre-built PSUs are always not going to be that great. This would have been a decent deal if it was at least 6000 MHz ram, kind of inexcusable to offer less than that in 2025 for a gaming PC. The sweet spot for these CPUs is 6000 MHz.

Edit: Would be slicker between $1,400-1500, I suspect we will probably see 5070 TI + 9800x3d on Black Friday for potentially $1600s given we saw them in the high $1700s on SD already.

Sketchy company with a history of fraud. I don't care that it's being sold at Costco. This company does not deserve your business.

I just don't think it is that good of a deal. Not even from Costco... Like other poster mentioned lopsided cpu inflating the price for this build. I would rather have cheaper cpu and 5070ti at this price.

Can anyone comment on this - https://www.costco.com/p/-/msi-co...oUjhYwYi53. I am looking to get it for some ML projects and not for gaming. Thanks in advance!

It's cheaper than per part cost if you were looking to build, but not if you're patient and bought every part on sale.

If you need a system now, it's a solid buy, but yeah, doesnt need a 9800x3d driving up the price. It's $100 cheaper than it was on sale for last month, but I'm willing to bet we'll see better options for black friday.

Brack Friday is just a month away. Wait a few weeks and there will be $150-$300 off instant coupon from Costco.
