Costco has a 1.8 rating with trust pilot so I would take their reviews with a grain of salt.

This is a legit company that's been around since the 1950s and has B&M stores across the midwest. I think you will be ok

Pretty bad reviews on trust pilot. Wouldn't trust them to ship Lego with enough protection. https://www.trustpilot.com/review...dfleet.com

Ah yes. The famously indestructible Lego bricks will get damaged. I know you mean the outer box. Who keeps that anyway?

And it isn't ideal if the box is crumpled, but if the recipient doesn't understand that stuff happens then that's on them.

really good deal, this set is still $119 on other sites etc. Discount is valid only on one item, so make that lego purchase count if you really want something!

I think outside of their region you won't get $1.99 shipping. Shipping for me is $12.95.

I've only ordered from them once, and I can confirm that they did not ship with adequate protection. Lego box was fairly beat up. If you are going to open and build the set, it should be no problem. If your intent is to gift or collect, you may want to look elsewhere.

In case anyone was wondering if this loader uses batteries: "The model is not motorized, so kids can use their imaginations as they pretend to charge the loader."

Every single Lego collector I know keeps the boxes. I know a few that would return the item without opening them if the box was damaged. Maybe not always the case for these cheaper ones but the bigger sets that are likely to eventually be collectibles? Box is super important.

I can't fathom that, to be honest, but I guess to each their own.

It helps with resale value. 98% of people do not keep the boxes.

I do. 😂
