The picture definitely wants you to think this is a 36" bar. They used to sell these at the dollar tree when everything was still a dollar. They're comically small.

I think the picture looks accurate and unless you lie about how big an inch is (we all do ) than you should know how long 12" is...in theory.

FWIW, the Dollar Tree near me still has these in the $5 section however you can tell from the shelf wear the steel is absurdly soft because they are bent and dented just getting stocked and handled by customers.
