You have 30d after purchase to buy the asurion warranty. But it only kicks in after the manufacturers warranty - 6mo in this case.

When I added the product on dyson it gives me 2 years of warranty. What am I missing here?

I bought this same Dyson in a past deal and got the asurion warranty but havent had to file a claim yet. What I found peculiar is that they don't require you to register your product until you need to file a claim. So it's important that you verify the warranty you buy actually covers the product (ie: price range, within 30d, etc) otherwise you won't find out until you actually file a claim. Also you can cancel the warranty within 30d of buying it if you change your mind.

Yea it's weird cuz when I registered mine, it was 1 year. Im not sure if they would actually honor the warranty past 6mo since they specifically mention 6mo for refurb items on their warranty policy.
