Seems like a lot for a non-pro ipad ($1k is honestly a lot for any tablet), but if you need cellular and half a TB of storage, in a new ipad, I guess this is competitive. I personally think the sweet spot is buying a used ipad pro in the $500 range, I'm on an M2 12.9 pro and I really like it. But the higher storage and cellular used market can be pretty inflated so might not come out much cheaper.

$1000 for a tablet? I think I'll go with a $100-$200 competitor that's just as good.
