I have a power station but its internal battery is a 48 V, so when I run 12 V things you lose some efficiency stepping it down to 12 V. I also have a 12 V battery and I'll just often run those device devices directly from the battery and I get much more run time per ah of battery.

Ya, pretty sure. I don't know where you read everything online, but it is well known in the camper community that lead batteries can be exposed to hot and cold temperature (and therefore installed say under a camper, where they get very cold in Winter, and very hot over black asphalt). LFP batteries not so much. But... whatever, just trying to help, not argue.
