Has anyone personally upgraded to these from the Klipsch RP-160M? Curious if the improvement warrants buying these. Thank you in advance.
I'm in the same boat but notable improvements includes better frequency response and wider soundstage (as a result of bigger new tweater design). This can be double edge sword though. If you have lot of reflecting surfaces surfaces in the room, wider soundstage may not be a good idea.
Added these to my cart and the total includes sales tax. Since when did Greentoe start charging sales tax?!?!? I've never paid sales tax on an item I bought from Greentoe.

That's a broad & very subjective question.
Assuming you have read all the spec/measurement differences already.
Sound wise yes this is "better", whether it's worth the change is highly subjective & personal.
As someone mentioned this provides a wider soundstage which is a benefit in a larger environment.
People often say this isn't as bright/harsh/etc also.
True but it doesn't make it no longer a bright/harsh sound, just slightly less imo.
In very basic terms. If it's replacing surrounds, might not be worth it.
As fronts, maybe, much depending why.
BTW regarding a bad environment(reflection), it's bad regardless of a wide or narrow soundstage.
It wouldn't make much an audible difference in my experience.
