Buyer beware because it's Samsung. Do your research on the reliability of Samsung Washers and Dryers.

Ive been burned with two of their TVs and a washer.

Lol 3 years. Come back to me at year 5.

People down voting are reallllly defensive, the truth is there is so much ample evidence that points to Samsung appliances being complete garbage it's not just anecdotes here and there.

Samsung appliances suck, full stop. Yes YOUR washer might have held up. Doesn't mean it's not trash. Ask any repair person near you which brand to stay away from and I guarantee you Samsung is near the top.

Refrigerator good for over 10 years now. Washer over 6. Dryer around 18.

Yeah, I was scared based on stories, but I've also learned that customers who didn't get good units are a lot more vocal.

This is true with most reviews

Why is the dryer capacity so much higher than the washer?

LG only for me. My 12 year old LG dryer is slowly dying so looking for replacement but will never buy any more Samsung appliances after replacing kitchen with them. Total and utter trash but yeah they are great when they work. Only thing that is fairly good is a microwave.

I've had some of the worst experiences with Samsung appliances on multiple occasions. They make great smartphones, but their appliances have been consistently disappointing.

It's always been that way. My guess is that the dryer needs more room to effectively dry your clothes, plus the wet clothes from the dryer expand a bit.Just guessing.

I agree with this. Have had my Samsung suite of appliances for 6 years now. No issues what so ever. I was also on double mind based on reviews, but took a chance with Costco.
Couple of minor things like sud error (which apparently you are supposed to do routine maintenance) in washer which I was able to check youtube video and do it myself.
If you insist on peace of mind, get some additional warranty with savings from deal.

Samsung has a lot more vocal angry customers than any other brand...that's enough for me to avoid...and techs say not to buy them, so...

I was stupid enough to buy a Samsung Fridge because wifey wanted one with French doors .

2 years later all the plastic shelves are broken (mind you we only put things like Ketchup bottles)

To add insult to injury ..apparently Samsung does not bother make replacement parts so I am looking at 100 dollar replacements on Ebay EACH

Beware
