So that's like fax/receipt paper? As in, it will fade in a year?

My daughter found our label maker(not this one) and asked if she could play with it. I told her about when Bart Simpson got one and ended up in a well and then the man from the Police had to rescue him. I told her this as if it were a true story. "How did the police rescue him?" "No no honey, the man from the Police."

I have it. Works ok. Very small labels. Their software tries to upsell you on things but you just have to close the ad at the beginning of loading the app. I've used this for labeling all sorts of small containers.

It's like a receipt (thermal) so if the label is exposed to heat for a long period it will make the label all black

Just an FYI: thermal labels/papers have traditionally been coated in BPA to enable the thermal printing.

Fortunately, the vendor claims in the Q/A section that the included labels are BPA-free. If you get this and eventually need replacement thermal paper/labels, make sure to buy replacement thermal paper/labels that are "BPA free".

I assume this one has DRM like all the others. Gotta use their crappy apps, their paper?

Take a look at the app, offers a subscription for $29.99 a year.

This crap should be flagged. Their label app is required to use it, and it tries to sell you a $29.99 annual subscription… for a label printer!
Also, it only prints on their own labels - each roll has an RFID tag, it phones home and keeps a count of how many prints for that roll, so you can't reload it. See: https://www.reddit.com/r/printers...that_wont/
This is a 100% garbage deal, and the poster should be ashamed of themselves.

It's a staff post. These are almost always 100% sponsored because SD staff are getting a cut of the sales instead of sharing a cut with the community that provides feedback and commentary. Everyone should thumb down staff posts.
