This CyberPowerPC build stands out as a strong 7800X3D starting point for future upgrades, especially if you want to swap in a better graphics card later. The base parts and power supply are seen as solid for the price, and the 850W upgrade is only about $34 to $35 more. The main knock is the RTX 3060, which feels dated and weak next to the CPU, while the 600W supply raises upgrade concerns. It is a decent foundation if you plan to customize it, but the GPU choice keeps it from feeling fully balanced.
Common Questions (4)
The 850W upgrade is available for about $34-$35 more and is the safer long-term choice if you plan a stronger future GPU. The 600W unit is considered enough for the current 7800X3D plus RTX 3060 setup, but it may be tight for higher-end upgrades and can make later PSU replacement more involved.
It is mainly worthwhile if you want the 7800X3D platform now and can live with the RTX 3060 as a temporary or secondary GPU. The 3060 is repeatedly described as a weak 8GB filler card for this CPU, so the value improves most if you plan to replace it later or move it into another PC.
Yes, the $849 configuration is framed as a solid starting point for a future-upgrade build. The main appeal is the 7800X3D platform, with the expectation that you can later drop in a much stronger GPU such as a 5070-class card.
Several comments expect better or similar gaming-PC deals around Black Friday, especially for systems that already include a newer GPU. The current deal is seen as less compelling if you are willing to wait for sales on 7800X3D plus 5070-class prebuilts.

7800X3D bundle with mobo and 32gb ram for $550
Case - $50
PSU - $50
CPU cooler - $50
2TB SSD - $100
Total cost around $800 without the RTX 3060 GPU and Windows OS if you planning to get a different GPU anyway. While the deal isn't terrible if you planning to do light gaming with the RTX 3060, but you can definitely put together a similar or better spec PC around this price.
Edit - you can also get a RTX 5070 - $500 or RX 9070 XT - $600 at Micro Center, and you have a pretty decent gaming PC.
So now I'm looking to wait for the 5070 super 18gb (Has extra cores) or Black Friday if 5070ti becomes sweeter but its overkill for me.
Honesty not too bad, but yea CyberPower has terrible reviews, IMO I would keep waiting until black friday.
Walmart had this ibuypower system on sale about a month ago with 7800x3D, 32gb of ram, and 5070 for $1200: https://www.walmart.com/ip/17172670195
With black friday around the corner, I'm willing to bet similar systems will be priced same or better than a random ibuypower sale.
I purchased from CyberPower. The build quality was not that great missing extra fans ordered and poor wiring. It eventually died at 1 year exactly. Customer service was horrible and offered no help.
I would not recommend CyberPower
