Visible's cheapest plan is a low-cost way to get Verizon network service, unlimited data, and hotspot, with the higher tiers adding faster priority data and watch support. The strongest upside is value, especially for Fios customers who can cut the bill further, and several reports say setup and porting can be quick. The main cautions are area dependent performance, with some congested spots, airports, and older phones causing slow speeds or dropped calls, and the $19 plan is often described as capped around 5 Mbps with 480p video. It is a flexible, no contract option if your local coverage is solid.
Hotspot performance can stay fast on Visible Basic when the Verizon tower is nearby.
Apple Pay and Watch Pay can work without an internet connection.
Visible can work seamlessly for voice, text, and data when traveling between the US and Canada.
Porting a Verizon number to Visible can reportedly be straightforward for new lines.
Connection quality can be spotty and speeds can feel slow in congested areas or certain locations.
The $19 tier can limit hotspot speed to about 5 Mbps, which may be insufficient for video streaming.
Customer service can be difficult because Visible may offer only chat support without a phone number.
FaceTime call quality can be unclear because the plan messaging references up to 480p video quality.

Hmm, I have a second number I don't really use much. Wonder if I should give this plan a shot with it before I decide to drop that number?
