So I have one of these. There's a lot of different companies that are selling basically the exact same solar panel. I have seen it cheaper by about $20 from other stores, and their offerings are a little better in the sense that they have a lot of different adapter plugs included not just the MC4s. That's basically all you get with this one. It's not light, it's not super compact, and the legs are kind of ghetto.

This panel is essentially 4x 50 W panels horizontal. I've also seen 200 W portable panels that are more compact when folded but also unfold into a more blanket like shape. Those are significantly more compact when stowed.
The biggest issue with any ground panel like this is that it sits on the ground so it is extremely susceptible to shading. Literally any amount of shading on the panel absolutely guts the solar output you get. Tall grasses, rocks, everything. It does have grommets on the sides so you could tie it down to something if you wanted to put it on a horizontal surface that's elevated. Like a picnic table for instance.

The waterproof portion of it is a little dubious in the sense that it has a micro inverter on the back of it for charging USB devices. It zips up into a pouch that is water resistant.

The little micro inverter is also nice in the sense if you only needed to charge USB A and USB-C devices, you'd be able to do so with no other equipment.

Have you measured the output? Are you getting 125-150watts in ideal conditions?

Yes, I can get decent output. With ideal solar conditions and an ideal angle, probably 165 watts real world. I have it running into a Victron MPPT.

It is far less shade tolerant than a higher end panel, and I'm not talking commercial panels, I'm talking janky ali express bifacial panels.

The most important thing is you absolutely cannot have any shade on this panel at all or it just poops. Overcast, occasional clouds, shadows, all of that just devastate the output on this. That happens with all things solar, but these lower end panels which optimize durability and portability much more so.

I would gladly pay a little more if these are available on Amazon, Temu or Shein because dealing with Aliexpress on shipping has been a nightmare because they don't handle the shipping (leaving that to sellers who tend to use the cheapest, worst and most unreachable shipping companies with no US presence or info or customer service).
