AC units can have capacitors that go bad and it's a fairly cheap part to buy and replace yourself. Versus an AC repair person that's typically over $100 for the visit and then whenever they want to charge you for the capacitor on your AC, that isn't working.
I have a Klein volt meter, a step above this that does capacitor testing and I was able to save myself a AC repair person visit and put a new capacitor in for $35.
My AC wasn't kicking on the compressor and it was due to an old capacitor. I was able to fix it with a voltmeter, a YouTube video and a screw driver.

Definitely pay the $5 more for the MM420 to get the added capacitance testing.
This product hasn't been anywhere near the $60 MSRP since 2021. This is the everyday price. Must be a slow deal day on SD so they are just pushing anything now.
That and cleaning your coils and lubing your fan bearings.
Even better, learn to press in new bearings. New fans can be 150+ tax and shipping.
