Not bad for the newest tools and two tabless power pack 4.0 slims (these are the same size as the old 4.0 slims but use round tabless cells that have more power (amperage peak output). One hopes this combo will get closer to 200 near the holidays but it's tough to tell these days.

Would have been a no brainer if the driver were the 860. In any case, here is to hoping the price goes down soon.

I know, right? It sort of seems like they're trying to clear out the 845s. They did the same thing with the DCD999 when they packaged that with the DCF867 when the DCF850 was already out. The red competition has not compromised on their top-of-the-line combo kit when it comes to the tools (although they drop the ball on the batteries in the kit).
