This 100 inch Hisense QD7 is being discussed as a huge mini LED Fire TV that stands out for size, 144 hertz support, and strong 4K HDR color. The Fire TV interface is built in, and the 100 inch version is described as different from smaller QD7 sizes, with separate specs and more dimming zones. HDR brightness is called decent but not especially high for very bright rooms. The main cautions are Hisense software complaints, heavy mounting demands, and uncertainty around long term durability and size specific panel differences.
Common Questions (4)
No. The 75, 85, and 100-inch QD7QF models are advertised with different specs, including refresh rate, HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, and dimming zones, so reviews of smaller sizes may not apply to the 100-inch version. This matters because the panel and feature set can change by size within the same model line.
Yes, it is very heavy and should be treated as a multi-person install. Similar 100-inch Hisense sets have been reported around 170 lbs, and even 85-inch Hisense models were described as heavy enough to need careful handling and extra support to avoid bowing.
Yes. It runs on Fire OS, so the TV uses Amazon's Fire TV interface and app ecosystem. That also means the software experience will be tied to Fire OS rather than Google TV or Roku.
It can look very good for 4K HDR movies, with strong color performance and no regret from users who moved from OLED to this 100-inch set. The main caveat is brightness: it is considered decent but not especially bright for very well-lit rooms or for HDR compared with higher-nit mini-LED TVs.

We installed it with 3 people to lift it ( nearly a requirment not sure to weight but you need to support each side and middle so it doesn't bow according to online )
It's comically large at first then every other TV just looks tiny.
Make sure to measure everything, tape it off on the wall and before mounting measure your cables, i ended up needing to upgrade from 10ft to 15 ft cables on my installion so they would reach from a prior 65inch tv.
