This 100 inch Hisense QD7 is being discussed as a huge mini LED Fire TV that stands out for size, 144 hertz support, and strong 4K HDR color. The Fire TV interface is built in, and the 100 inch version is described as different from smaller QD7 sizes, with separate specs and more dimming zones. HDR brightness is called decent but not especially high for very bright rooms. The main cautions are Hisense software complaints, heavy mounting demands, and uncertainty around long term durability and size specific panel differences.
The TV runs on FireOS, which can fit buyers who prefer Amazon's Fire TV software ecosystem.
The 100-inch Hisense can deliver strong HDR movie colors, with users reporting no regrets after upgrading from OLED.
Hisense ownership experiences include older models that have continued running strong for years.
The 100-inch size can be manageable for mounting when teams plan lifting support to prevent bowing during installation.
Hisense model specs can vary by screen size within the same QD7QF line, which can make performance expectations harder to match.
Fire OS software experience can be frustrating, with reports describing it as buggy or undesirable.
Large-screen Hisense units can be extremely heavy, creating practical mounting and handling friction.
The TV may not be especially bright for well-lit rooms or demanding HDR viewing, which can limit HDR impact.

Spoken like a real snob. Plenty of people with OLEDs have upgraded to larger LED TVs and have no regrets. Immersion can be more important to some than dark levels and vibrant colors, not to mention that gap keeps getting smaller every year.

Long answer: cnet has you from 2018: https://www.cnet.com/tech/home-en...r-next-tv/
Not asked for answer: if you do HDR content you want the highest possible nits, and while 600 nits is good for a tv in standard mode, it's fairly mediocre (acceptable but kinda-sorta just barely IMHO) under HDR content as you really want 1000+ if you do a lot of HDR (see among other places https://www.consumerrep
It's a good deal on a tv with mini-led but it's not especially bright for very well lit rooms, or for HDR content in minimally lit rooms. The TCL 7series (98QM7K) for example puts out (up to) 3000 nits and MSRP is also $1k more (it's likewise also $1k more at best buy and amazon currently on sale.) I'm hopeful it'll drop to the 2k range (or lower) in mid 26 as that's the one I'm likely going to pick up with an extended amazon warranty if the qm8k doesn't drop to ~2500 by then (the camel says the QM7k hit 1998 twice already this year, the qm8k has hit 3k 3 times.)
But I'd rather get a TCL QMK. Fire OS is garbage
