(RTings review removed since for some reason Hisense has deferent specs for different sized screens within the same ''QD7QF model line')

Spoken like a real snob. Plenty of people with OLEDs have upgraded to larger LED TVs and have no regrets. Immersion can be more important to some than dark levels and vibrant colors, not to mention that gap keeps getting smaller every year.

I Had a 77" Oled Sansung , for 1.5 years , before that a 65" Oled LG , grabbed the 100" Hinsense , from BB couple months ago. Even though the oled has a beautiful image , i don't miss it, when watching movies in 4k a have this 100"tv HDR on and colors are great..,no regrets

That review is useless for this version. They reviewed the 65 which is a different panel as well as different specs all around. This supports 144hz the tv reviewed was a 60hz panel, etc....
Thanks. First time I've seen a manufacturer use a different spec screen within the same model line. Very odd.

Once OLED you can't never go back.... don't think it's worth it, get little smaller but get oled, size is not everything.

Can this actually be correct 120 pounds without the stand for a LED TV?
I would say yes I just put an 85in Hisense on my wall about an hour ago and that thing was heavy I would say 80 to 90 pounds. This is a 100in.

What are nits?
Short answer: an easy way to identify how bright something is (maxed out) that can be compared to any other TV from another mfg. It's a better measurement than lumens, but it's also not entirely real as the settings they use to obtain the nits won't be the settings you use, but they all achieve them basically the same way so it works for comparison purposes. The brighter your room is the higher nits you want.

Long answer: cnet has you from 2018: https://www.cnet.com/tech/home-en...r-next-tv/

Not asked for answer: if you do HDR content you want the highest possible nits, and while 600 nits is good for a tv in standard mode, it's fairly mediocre (acceptable but kinda-sorta just barely IMHO) under HDR content as you really want 1000+ if you do a lot of HDR (see among other places https://www.consumerreports.org/e...185152015/ )

It's a good deal on a tv with mini-led but it's not especially bright for very well lit rooms, or for HDR content in minimally lit rooms. The TCL 7series (98QM7K) for example puts out (up to) 3000 nits and MSRP is also $1k more (it's likewise also $1k more at best buy and amazon currently on sale.) I'm hopeful it'll drop to the 2k range (or lower) in mid 26 as that's the one I'm likely going to pick up with an extended amazon warranty if the qm8k doesn't drop to ~2500 by then (the camel says the QM7k hit 1998 twice already this year, the qm8k has hit 3k 3 times.)

My 85" Samsung QN90B is 98 lbs without the stand. Glass is heavy AND brittle so extra reinforcing is needed for larger panels, meaning a lot of metal instead of a lot of plastic.

Samsung has done it. The Q80 line for example. Depending on size it can be VA or ADS, 60Hz or 120Hz.
