My son however has been begging for me to fix it or to get his own for the holidays. I really didn't want to spend very much and was just about to pull the trigger on the Adventurer 5M for about $100 less. However this just popped up and I decided for the price to just splurge for the multi color/filament options.
Hopefully I made a good choice, as I usually don't make impulse buys like this, but I have a decent understanding of the hobby after struggling with the A8 for so long. My guess is we will use this as stock and probably print the enclosure kit and likely migrate over to Klipper after a bit.
I have over $150 worth of filament that was just going to go to waste if I didn't use it, so I consider this an investment to use that. If I end up not being happy, I'm hoping I can recoup my cost selling this locally for a fairly decent ROI.
Just hope everything arrives working and/or Flashforge support is good to deal with.
