I bought this once SD a while ago. It's stamped metal and will bend if you lift anything heavy. It's find for stirring liquid.

dang missed this deal! I needed a more robust basting spoon, all of my other basting spoons have broke under the pressure, couldn't handle the heat nor do the heavy lifting of basting. Once again tonight I will hear how the chicken for dinner isn't bast.
