another reason why i know nvidia's tier structure like the back of my hand but cant tell you what a 9060 XT is

People that like big ram numbers get AMD. Real gamers get Nvidia. AMD might make good hardware but they lost the optimization war. Just not worth the aggravations.

This version of the card (16 GB VRAM) got great reviews. It's a great buy at that price. 9000 series AMD is dramatically improved

Yep I got caught up in the GPU craze and clearly no fair priced 4090 or 5090. I cracked yesterday and got. 5080 from microcenter. The 7900xtx Red devil is definitely wayyy more powerful pretty much zero frame drop compared to the 5080 but I couldn't handle the crashes every 40 min and playing on low just to have them every 3 hours or so still wasn't worth it..tried like 15 different "fixes". Was really trying to wait for 5080ti but not seeing much word on that...
