If you think 20lb is a small weight, you're in for a big surprise. This thing requires a lot of stability, an iron grip, and a steel core. Recommended start weight is 7lb if you're in pretty good shape

Late Saturday night purchases that I've made while I've been a little sloshed: 10 inch mirrorball that did not have a hook and motor for it to be fully functional. A purchase from Cutlery Corner of this gigantic switchblade that opens up to be about 17 inches in length that says "Kiss My Bass" on it. And now, a 20 lb Macebell in which I did 5 minutes of preliminary research into the art of macebell exercise.

Men should start with 10lbs, women can start with a 7lb then move to a 10lb.

Mark Wildman has a great YouTube channel with lessons on how to actually use one or these.

It takes most people up to a year to use a 20lb mace effectively.

I bought the 15lb and it will get your attention. I'm reasonably strong but moving this thing is interesting. This isn't like a dumbbell, good luck.

You are correct. I got the 15 and I need to hold closer to the ball right now.

Mace is a traditional Indian workout item. It's called Mugdar or various regional names. Look for workout videos on how to them.
