I've had two of this machine. First one broke after couple of years. The second one has been a workhorse for over 10 years now.
This machine has saved us so much time and money that I would not hesitate to buy another one.

It's durable if you are taking care of it. I owned two, first one works for 7+ years (and assuming still working) but my ex-wife took it after divorce; and, the second one is on its 5th year.

Interesting point is that the specific machine model from De'longhi hasn't changed its price much since 2013 between 400-500. I bought my first one for $450 on a sale on Amazon.com back in 2013; and, my second one since 2021 for $499 at Costco.com ~~~ Both still running. Make sure you clean and take care of it. It lasts.

***Make sure you by dry coffee beans for espesso machine, not the oil-infused or roasted coffee bean.

Lavazza has various of kinds and types you can choose from.

Often times the very dark roasted beans are very oily. A medium roast usually is low to no oiliness.

I've had mine for a few years now. Never paid attention to the beans going on that's mentioned by others. It sees almost exclusively Sam's club Columbiano supremo or Starbucks espresso beans. We use ours about 2 times per day on average.

This is correct. Dark roast coffee beans are oily because the longer roasting time breaks down the bean's cell structure, forcing the internal oils to migrate to the surface.

I'm getting $500 on Samsclub.com I could get it at Amazon for $450 but it looks like no returns. Would rather be able to return at Samsclub.

I have one from 2017 and it still runs great. Makes amazing coffee. I did buy a Jura EN8 from Costco when it was on clearance for 1000. 2 very different machines, I would recommend delonghi all day. Great price too!

Just want to add that based on my brother's recommendation... I should buy a unit that uses the Sacco system. He swears by this. I still am using a manual machine which I have no issues with... I am the only coffee drinker at home.
