If you don't already use those, the green is probably the better choice, like a 2-in-1 shampoo if you don't use already use fancy conditioner.

Optimum No Rinse is a versatile rinseless wash that works especially well for garage washing, winter salt cleanup, and quick detailer style use. The blue formula is the classic version without carnauba wax, while the green adds wax for a little extra protection. It mixes at about 1 ounce per gallon, uses very little water, and can be stretched into dozens of washes. The main caution is that heavy grime still benefits from a pre rinse or extra agitation, and the waxed version can leave buildup if used every wash.
Common Questions (5)
It works best when the car is already fairly clean, but it can still handle dust, dirt, salt, and winter road film if you first remove the heavy grime. For dirtier cars, a pre-rinse or pressure wash first, then a second pass with ONR, is the safer approach.
Blue is the classic ONR formula without carnauba wax, while green includes carnauba wax and adds a light protectant layer. Blue is better if you already use ceramic or graphene coatings; green makes more sense if you want a wash-and-protect step in one product.
Yes. It is well suited to a warm garage or winter wash when you do not have a hose or drain, and a $10 sprayer can make the process nearly as convenient as a traditional bucket wash. Some users also squeegee the floor dry afterward to speed cleanup.
A common mix is 1 oz per gallon of water, or 1 oz with 2 gallons for a lighter bucket. It is designed to be low-suds and used with microfiber towels or a wash mitt rather than a foamy soap wash.
At roughly 1 oz per 2 gallons, a gallon can yield about 64 washes. One Silverado-sized wash used 2 oz in 4 gallons and still left over a gallon in the bucket, so the bottle goes a long way.

As for the wipe down, well you want to scratch your car, spray off all your soap with a hose, and then wipe it down with a dry cloth.
Its cold up here, i can use ONR in a semi unheated garage with a warm bucket. My little hamster hands hurt trying to wash salt off in feb, and im not paying a 20 spot to go to the scratch-n-dash.
Because Costco has car wash for $8 if you use their gasoline.

So probably ~64 washes.

I think Pit has this confused with a waterless wash. There is almost zero difference between a rinseless and a classic bucket. Hell once you have a $10 sprayer, its almost zero. <br />

Not sure I'd go with the green since I'm a user of ceramic products.
