If you have the DJI action cams, it can directly connect to the camera without a receiver. So you can just get the transmitter. The charging case is still nice though.It's worth unless you don't need the audio at all.
This or the Rode Wireless Pro (ignoring the price difference)?
Rode by a huge margin. Better offloading workflow & software. High-quality lavs with locking connectors. More durable & portable charging case. More accessories. Slightly better sound quality. And, when feeding wireless audio to DJI cameras, this product disables internal 32-bit float recording anyway, so it's no benefit to stay in the DJI ecosystem.

You can get the DJI mini mic version on Amazon for $80 right now if this is overkill for your needs.The mini kit would fit MOST people's needs. Let me know if you have any questions on this exact model (DJI mic 2) as I own and use it professionally.
I like the DJI mic 2s for the 32 bit float and the 3.5mm inputs. I can use the 3.5mm to go out from almost any audio source and into the mic 2. The new versions do not have a 3.5mm jack so it's likely you do not need this in your workflow, but if you do? These are perfect for the price. Make sure your lavs don't need phantom power though. I had a very specific case that called for cardioid lavs that needed phantom power before the 3.5mm but it ended up working well in a noisy environment.

Just buy the standalone mics. You buy this kit if you want to pair this with a camera or phone. Even with phone, you can just buy the standalone mic ($65) and pair it with Bluetooth. No receiver needed.

I use these for my personal tiktok vids as is. Word of warning though, DJI no longer sells the replacement lightning adaptor for these so if you break yours like I broke mine, you'll need to upgrade your phone, or upgrade your DJI mics.
