Mrs. Meyer's products are not considered "natural"
because they use synthetic fragrances, controversial preservatives like isothiazolinone, and have been involved in lawsuits over misleading "natural" and "non-toxic" marketing claims. While the brand uses some plant-derived ingredients and omits certain harsh chemicals like phthalates, many of the synthetic fragrance chemicals and preservatives it uses are controversial and linked to skin sensitivity and environmental concerns
