I got the XM4's about 2-3 weeks ago. I like them. However, I am pretty disappointed in the noise cancellation. Really expected more. I also have Air Pod Pro 2's and those have a better noise cancellation. I have tested both in numerous places, including on a flight.

Well in their defense, these are two gens old. So this is noise cancelling technology from 5 years ago. (Google says XM4 released in 2020, AirPods Pro 2 is from 2022)

Sure, but xm4 being over the ear, and industry leading, I expected better.

The key point here is this is still two gens old. I forgot when the X4 came out, if you said its NC is from 5 years ago, then that makes sense.

Got the xm5 deal last week. The noise cancellation is pretty good. Not as good as Bose but also doesn't have a weird vacuum seal feel to it.

If I remember xm4 have two less mics so probably slightly not as good but would expect them to perform on par.
