A couple of caveats:

This will take a long time to ship. I ordered one 2 weeks ago already (October 6) and I still haven't received a shipping notice. Not sure if your order will get fulfilled or not or how long it will end up taking.

Paying with TrueMed means that you might not be able to pay with your normal credit card for purchase protection, extended warranty, return protection, etc. Yes it's an option to use credit card and reimburse, but it's risky. Because if you do, then you have to go through the manual reimbursement process with your FSA/HSA provider instead and they'll most likely deny it.

They charge 20% restocking fee + return shipping on Garmin. Fenix 7X is a very big watch and it's honestly too big for everyone unless you're fairly overweight or are very muscular. Most endurance athletes are pretty skinny. I bought a 51mm Epix from another deal and it's way too big for my wrist at 16.5cm. I'm actually returning it because it's also too heavy and uncomfortable to wear, plus I can't wear it for sleep tracking because it's very uncomfortable. If it's comfortable for you and you don't care about your watch being oversized, then it might be a good deal.

Because of this I'd probably wait around a bit for another retailer to clearance a Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire or Epix Pro Sapphire 47mm. It has happened before, there were Epix Pro Sapphire 47mm refurb for under $400 during Amazon's early October sale.

Garmin's Fenix 7X Pro Sapphire Solar stands out as a large, rugged fitness watch with offline maps, basic smartwatch features, and excellent battery life. The 51 mm size is the biggest talking point, with the thickness and weight making it feel oversized for smaller wrists and less comfortable under sleeves or for sleep tracking. Pricing has also been volatile, with coupon codes and checkout discounts sometimes lowering the total, while shipping can be slow. It is a strong fit if you want a big Garmin and do not mind the bulk.

  • The checkout experience reportedly shows no tax when paying with FSA funds through TrueMed.

    GreyOctopus264Ronec

  • Coupon code FALL reportedly worked and can lower the checkout price further.

    ruthlessWiseTable7651

  • The watch supports offline maps while offering basic smartwatch features for fitness and health tracking.

    austofferson

  • The battery life reportedly stands out as incredible, and the model is a non-OLED Garmin option.

    SercanT

  • The 51mm size reportedly feels comically large and can be too heavy or uncomfortable for some wrists.

    khristready4wardAegann

  • Deal pricing reportedly fluctuates after purchase, including brief increases to around $599 before returning to the advertised price.

    bendsleyRonecRonec

  • Order fulfillment reportedly takes a long time, with no shipping notice after about two weeks.

    ready4ward

  • The watch thickness reportedly makes it difficult to wear with dress sleeves or jackets and can catch on doorways.

51mm is comically large. Not sure why they make these flagship watches so big. If you got a medium to small wrist you should probably not buy this since there is a restocking fee.
Dang, the stainless steel color appears to only be available in that size. I'm 6'2" but with relatively small wrists, so I doubt I could pull it off.

The stainless steel one is known to get more visble scratches, something to keep in mind. Rest to each it's own

Use the discount code "Fall," and $22.49 will be further discounted, effectively bringing the price down to $427.50. Sadly, 51mm is too large for me, so I will wait and see if 47mm will go on sale like this

I have the 6 Pro and absolutely love it. I use it for running, hiking and general use. I'd get this, but mine is working just fine over 2 years.

The lowest was $599 and this is $427 plus you can pay with your FSA/HSA. That seems to be a great deal, what's the catch? It's hard to resist...

Would this be too big for a wrist size of 16.5cm?
Yes, you need wrist size of at least 19 CM to NOT look ridiculous. Get the 47 MM watch, it'll be perfect for your wrist size.

I'm 6'2" small wrists. Have the 6x (same diameter) find it perfect fit and not comically large as some have posted.

Do you know your wrist diameter? Mine are 17.5cm cirumference and about 6cm across the top. I've worn a 47mm watch for the last 4 years and it's perfect so I'm on the fence about going to a 51mm.
