Actually this set is a decent price for a homeowner who may be looking to purchase a good starter tool set. Most contractors or heavy DIYers are going to have XR model tools and heavier duty batteries. This is a very basic tool set with a great box to put them in.

This is the killer deal for first time homeowner or anyone wanting to get started. Amazing price even though it is brushed tools. Top of the line in 2012... This is an old school deal but a killer deal non the less at a decent price.

To be honest the 885 impact still holds up well to the myriad impact drivers DeWalt has and there are a lot of people who prefer it over the bells and whistles versions out there. The 785 is also brushed and appears to be a good homeowner hammer drill doing the occasional masonry type of task.

That light is the perfect camping light. I use M12 tools with my travel trailer but take the light usually with a big old 5AH batt on it for longer trips.

Just a great mix for an unbelievable price now days... A great foundation for getting into the platform.

Mine was just delivered, with the flashlight. The tools are not individually boxed. They are packed in a pretty large storage box you get with the set. May try to reach out to the local Home Depot and see if they can do anything about the flashlight vs the grinder but since its loose in the box, I have a feeling they are gonna say, keep it all or return it all.
