Honest, the 1 was a trash mouse. Went through 3 of them in 2 years and I don't even play click heavy games. The original started double clicking at 13 months, the warranty replacement lasted like 4 months before the scroll wheel and side buttons started having problems, and replacement #2 lasted even less before the double clicking showed up again.
Even though the warranty was officially 1 year, Logitech essentially doubled the warranty because they know how bad the mechanical components are.
Logitech has coasted on their reputation for far too long. I used a chinese clone for 2 years now and have had no issue. Paying $24 for a clone vs $80 (or $150 in my case) for the genuine is worth it to me even if I replace the clone 3 times.
