Review from a trusted source

Monitors unboxed is thorough and picky (which I appreciate)
Also rtings review:

Keep in mind this looks like their older monitor review method.
Bottom line, it's better for higher fps gaming and not great for lower fps gaming. But if you're buying at this price point, then you're probably not expecting a lot.
Personally I'm in the the market for a budget 1440p 27" monitor and I'm on the fence on this vs. waiting until black Friday. You probably can't go wrong either way, but this has been around (a little above) this price for a couple months on eBay from Acer.

perhaps Great IPS display to be used in Portrait orientation without losing contrast. or readability.

Damn looking for 4k at this price point and size, but 60 hz would be fine to meet that price point for me

You do not need 4k at 27". 1440P and 120+ hz would look SOO much better than a 4k at 60hz. Hell I have two 32" 1440P monitors at work and they look perfect. 1440P at 32" is the same PPI as 1080P at 24" for reference.

Will be for a laptop next to two other 4k monitors, i dont wana different variation in resolution and I feel like I get more desktop real-estate cuz right now it has a 24" at 1080p monitor and I feel like i dont have enough room to do what I need to going from the 4k 27" on my main computer to the 1080p lol so its more so to fit more stuff on screen and match my other monitors

I have this monitor. While it has HDR capabilities, colors look real washed out so you have to stick to SDR. It works fine though overall.

I own 2x of these 27" Nitro IPS monitors w/ varying refresh rates (144Hz and 180Hz) and have had nothing, but good experiences using them for different tasks. Now I'm anticipating when Acer will decide to start marking down their certified refurbished 4K high refresh Nitro monitors below the $200 mark.

I agree, the screen real estate you're able to get back after upgrading to a higher resolution makes it feel like you have 2x 1080p monitors combined in 1.
