Most deals on Target are Targeted. This prob for people with current memberships, auto-renew off, and some degree of closeness to expiring. At least, that would make sense.

The regional fees in California make this a bad deal. I tried it with a $40 LEGO set and got hit with a $3.99 CA Shipt Shopper Benefit Fee and a $1.00 estimated bag fee. That's $5 extra, seriously? I used to think W+ wasn't great because of the $35 order minimum from store, but this is even worse. The free option is good, but using the membership is not worth it. Might come in handy once in a while if the item is heavy or large or for member only deals!

So I see the deal:

Get another free year of Target Circle 360™
Just turn on auto-renewal & continue enjoying your benefits at no extra cost (reg. $99).

Expires Nov 8

But when I go to the thing to turn on auto renew, I see

By checking "I agree to the recurring membership fee" and selecting "Turn on auto-renewal," when your current membership expires at the end of your one-year membership period, you authorize Target to charge the method of payment you have provided, on an automatically recurring basis on Nov 10, 2025 andannually on your membership renewal date, $99 plus applicable taxes minus any applicable discounts for the annual Target Circle 360 membership fee until you cancel your membership. If the provided payment card is invalid, another card connected to the account may be charged.

Nothing on there says anything about the free year, so does it show up afterwards? Because like the others said, this is hardly worth free, let alone $99/year

I order a lot of media with their buy 2 get 1 free, so it is nice to have a 120 day return period for price fluctuations. Has saved me a bit of money thru returning and rebuying in the next sale. But otherwise, yes I wouldnt be paying for it. Two years free for free shit and extra return period aint bad

Not in mine. I did have a $10 reward for creating a wishlist and adding 10 things to it, which is nice.

I don't see such offer. My 360 ends at end of next April. Strangely my autorenew is currently on. I remember I turned it off before... Anyway, I just turned it off.

If you accept the offer, does the autorenew date change to the offer acceptance date, before the actual membership expiration date?

My theory is that Target is targeting only those who are "big spenders" to Target with these 360 deals. My wife still loves Target and got the free 360 stuff. Me? Hell nah!

Targeted deal at Target. I see what they did there.

I didn't get targeted though
