We recently got one of these installed. The guy who did it said he'd never installed one. He had a little bit of trouble getting it in since it was so different from a normal toilet and had to modify the pipe from the wall to get it to work. The seat and lid are plastic, which are the only real "flimsy" feel to me. I suppose the seat has to be in order to have the heating elements inside, but the lid I'm not sure I trust to sit on when closed. It's also a softer plastic, so it got scratched on install. The bidet, air, seat warming, etc. all work fine. I don't have any other experience with smart toilets or fancy bidets (we had a cheap seat one from Amazon once), but so far it works fine.

The only things I don't like is I think it sits pretty close to the ground, so when standing to pee, you get more splash. When sitting to make deposits, you also seem to get more splash (I know, TMI). I think the bowl inside is maybe shallower than a normal toilet. The "massage" function is more like a pulse function, where it increases the pressure then decreases slowly, so it's more like "stronger cleaning" than "ahhh".

Now, the flush is amazing. Kind of like a cruise ship flush. All-in-all, I like it, but there were a few annoyances. Can't comment on reliability since it's only been a few weeks, but no problems, yet.

last year I remodeled 4 bathrooms and these are were on sale.. I gotta say as a stubborn dumb fat lazy American, never used a bidet... First case of mud butt, after making my own bowl of chili per se... the porcelain throne got the curiosity of me, the bum gun sprayed and after that first shock from the squirt from poseidon.. I'm a fan. After those spicy wings / pizza or Mexican, I recognize I'm not the young buck I was with a cast iron stomach and my digestive system agrees. When you have the squirts and you're raw, this is the game changer.

I don't know the difference between V1 and V3, but Amazon has the V1 for $425.

Is this the same toilet at Walmart for $377?.... nope, nevermind. V1 has way less features than V3!
