In some cases yes……Stubby Impacts though would be no.

Home Depot - $229 with 'FREE BATTERIES' + 8% sales tax = $244
Clarks Tool - $143 + $59 same batteries = $202

So roughly 20% more to buy from Home Depot.

There are several other examples. As for the $400 threshold……it's $10 for shipping so still less than HD's price above. And if you're building out your home setup you can easily hit $400. Worth it to round out you set and save the tax.

These are all on sale on HD. Lots of sale deals that have batteries attached to them. The ones from Clarks Tool are tool only. Some of these are good deals, others you'd be better off grabbing it from HD with the free battery.

Yeah, he's talking about the "free" batteries that cost 20% more. Not really a deal. Even if you do the return hack the stubby ends up costing more than $143. Plus you have to drive to HD to do the return. 30 miles each way for me.

Caulk Gun is another example.

HD $179 with 'free' batteries. Plus tax = $193

Clarks Tool is $107 + $59 same batteries = $166. Even if you pay $10 shipping you're at $176.

Just checked a few more. Clarks Tool is also cheaper on the die grinder, shop vac, cutoff tool, rapid charger, nail gun, 5a batteries……..OK, I can't check any more.

160 for impact + 2 pack of 3ah batteries. if you can unload the batts on facebook, you can get the tool for like $100 (pre-tax). that's what i did. i'm in NYC. someone came by and snagged the batteries for $60 the same day i listed them

the bundle is 230 right now, but it does down to 160 every 3-4 weeks. both the 3/8 and 1/2" version

Anyone purchased from here and confirm these are genuine OEM milwaukee batteries?
Also, I currently have 2x 1.5Ah and 2x 2.0 Ah batteries. Should I pick up the 2-pack of 3.0Ah or the single 5.0Ah? I have the 3/8 square stubby fuel impact (previous gen) and the 1/4 hex stubby fuel impact.

Yes, basically 50% of my set came from here. They are an Authorized Reseller so no issues with authenticity. I'm a home-gamer for most of these tools and I've never gone through an entire 5a battery + we know from testing that this is THE WAY to unleash the full power potential of any M12 tool. So yes, I'd get the 5a single vs. 2 of any lesser battery. Hope that helps.
P.S. This is a small regional company so they WILL sell out of these tools quickly. A few test cart shows less than 5 to 10 units on any of the SKU's.

Do you create a login or just use an email and they send you a code? I don't really see where you create a login but they sent me a code two different times and neither one worked it said invalid request for some reason when I entered the code to log in I've never bought them here before pretty slick prices

How is Clarks evading paying sales tax on online orders?

Sign up for an account on shop and you can log in via that way. I was unable to create a new account and was having the same issues you were.
