Literally it's the opposite. Thieves stealing a bright yellow backpack and trying to get away? A lot harder to blend in than a regular black bag. Also in no way does this really say I am carrying Photography equipment.

I ordered one because it'll be actually really useful at this price for short trips or even day hikes. I usually use a Hex Sling which you can't really store anything like a water bottle or other supplies.

There's also a light blue one for $70 if neon yellow isn't your thing. Note that the camera space in this bag isn't very big, and that some reviews indicate low-quality snaps/buttons. It's a pass for me, but I'm sure this is a great fit for some people.

I know, right? That simply fact just doesn't sink in for some folks.

Then again, if someone is going out in crowded unfriendly spaces with $1000+ bodies and $2000+ lenses instead of a phone that everyone already has, then that someone probably can afford to have their valuables lifted.
