Make sure u play in the dungeon with the max 300nits. What I don't get is with the screen so dim. Why is the battery life so bad?

I believe so. Looks like a regular sized laptop to accommodate that.

Yes 2 SODIMM slots, but both could be occupied with 2x4Gb

I've been burned by best buy on open box before (immediately returned a handheld), but $384 is tempting. I'm in the market for a beelink or minisforum mini pc for awhile for a build and this would give me more power. I don't even want a laptop but dang this is cheaper.

That's for the new one. Look below for the open box options and select the one sold by best buy

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this one. What would be the hesitation?

Uprgrade from Lenovo Flex 5 14 2-in-1 Laptop, 14.0" FHD Touch Display, AMD Ryzen 5 4500U, 16GB RAM, 256GB Storage, AMD Radeon Graphics, Digital Pen Included, Win 10 which kinda sucked.

Because of the GPU power consumption- it is a gaming laptop

Because this is a budget gaming laptop. Big difference between these Victus laptops and HP's Omen real gaming laptops. SD is full of budget gaming laptop threads of people thinking they're getting a $1500+ laptop performance for $600 or less. These should be counted more as a workstation laptop than a gaming laptop.

I always record myself opening open-box items just in case because of some of the horror stories I've heard of different items being in the boxes sometimes. It's never happened to me and I buy open box items from Best Buy often but I recently returned an open box apple watch 11 and the Best Buy employee didn't even open it to make sure it was in there.

RAM is upgradeable. This is a great price. Plays most games and specs and performance are perfect for online or new gamers. Don't expect competition level. Battery life is atrocious and plastic keyboard may flex affecting key presses if it's on your lap - god forbid you use it as intended.

Overall, at only sub-$400 it's a win-win. I got it last time it was open box for $470, and was brand new, so buy if you're in the market but BF is just around the corner so who knows what deals await.

I have a few of these. Good laptops for the price.. The one thing I suggest is buying a mouse.. Dont like the touchpad
