They won't respond -- they're just spewing falsehoods with zero evidence.

They're not falsehoods. There's an abundance of scientific data available about the toxicity of plastics to our bodies, the environment, and everything it comes into contact with. More and more supportive evidence is available every day.

It's a pair of pants. Let me rephrase.... how do the kids say it nowadays... "Sir, this is a Wendys." That's the right expression to tell someone they're completely out in left field and it's not even a game day.

I think he's wearing them on his head, to be honest.

If it were for some people, you'd still have asbestos in your walls and lead in your water.

There are studies that show adverse effects to skin and organs when in contact with the body. Often polyester products are treated with BPA, phthalates, and formaldehyde.
It is speculated that sweat, heat, and friction will increase the absorption of chemicals into the skin.

It's destructive to the environment: it creates microplastic runoff when washing or cleaning it.

These products are made using fossil fuels and are cheap to manufacture, so corporations love to pack polyester where possible.

"Back in my days" people...

Yeah. The types who push back against progress with all their might because "the good old days" were real and the right way to do things!

"Regressives"...

Just keep moving the goalposts…

You said there was no evidence, but there is plenty.

Some Dickies info if you're interested. They were bought out some years back. They had a cost and quality cutting line sold in WalMart. I see from the amazon pics these are even worse. If you know something old called Dickies beware these are crap. Look at the thin wrinkly pics from customers with seams that easily tear out and are two sizes small. I forget the model number that is still ok.
Edit: Some reviewers claim they are fake. Three things point to that. Amazon sells fakes. The quality and sizes being smaller than claimed. The one review has tags that don't even match with sizes on label and sewn tags. If you ever had to identify fake clothing these are tells. It can go down to even stitching zippers and buttons.
